html5 player?

Edit: If so, which script are you using to get it’s effect. I’ve got youtube.com/html5 enabled, but it hardly ever uses it.

Well it’s not ViewTube as it doesn’t have that ugly menu bar. Doesn’t work with ViewTube at all anyways.

Edit: If you’re using HTML5Kiss, then you should know it’s broken (they hide error messages as well…).

Try this script:

// ==UserScript==
// @name            Youtube: HTML5
// @description Force the HTML5 player on Youtbe.
// @icon            http://youtube.com/favicon.ico
// @version         1
// @include         http*://*.youtube.com/*
// @include         http*://youtube.com/*
// @include         http*://*.youtu.be/*
// @include         http*://youtu.be/*
// ==/UserScript==

ytplayer.config.html5=true;
delete ytplayer.config.args.ad3_module;

If you want, I can upload it.

Edit:
Actually, it looks like HTML5Kiss is fine, except when used with YouTube Center for some reason.

Basically I just deleted 2 lines from their script that forcibly enabled SPF.

I have html5 enabled via the youtube.com/html5 link, no other scripts installed. The only non-default chrome addon installed is adblock.

What happens when I load a video is the usual size player will load, then the script kicks in increasing the player size but not the video itself.
The script works for me on certain peoples channels for example;
Any video from this guy will display correctly - http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVdtW2E4vwvf8yh...
Any video from this channell only increases the player not the video - https://www.youtube.com/user/smitegame?feature=...

I'd say it works on 5% of channels I access. I'm starting to think this possibly isn't a script fault and something I have is blocking it, although I'm not sure what it could be.

For some reason, even with html5 enabled on latter user’s videos, I still get the flash player. Even if I force the html5 player with the above script, it’s working fine for me.

Next time it happens, press F12 to open up the console.

Then type console.log($('body'), $('#player')); into the textbox. Screenshot

Hit enter. Screenshot

Then hit the sideways triangle to expand the <div id="player"> element. Screenshot 1 | Screenshot 2

Click drag from console.log($('body'), $('#player')); to undefined to select everything. Copy. Then paste it here.

Eg:

console.log($(‘body’), $(‘#player’));

With the html5kiss script enabled, all the videos that went fullscreen stopped working. Turned it off and they started working on some videos again.
Turned html5 off and it still only works on certain videos.

Edit: installed http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/184510
Force flash fixed my issue.
